What kind of rock are you?

November 24, 2014 admin

Like rocks on the beach of an ocean or lake, we all tumble together onto shore and into life. We ride the waves into a family and eventually a school, bringing with us our own unique and special qualities.

Some of us arrive as smooth rocks — elegant and easy-going, symmetrical and even-toned. Some of us are a little more offbeat. Some of us are sparkly and colorful. Or just different in one way or another. Whether smooth, jaggedy, sparkly, shiny, big or small — we all have our own unique part to play on the interesting, rocky shore of life. And each and every one of us needs and deserves love and connection.

So, as we gather with our families and friends this Thanksgiving, let’s be grateful for our differences and what makes each of us remarkable. Let’s remember that we all have something important to offer The World. Let’s remember we belong to each other and that everybody rocks.
